DAY 1 AM
Take your seat in your Luxury Coach. Meet your DAY 1 Guides – they will look after all your needs. If applicable, collect friends/family at their accommodation venues.
Begin your day with a delicious FARM BREAKFAST BUFFET at the Magalies Gliding Club. Something for everyone!
Your first outing is a guided tour of the award-winning MAROPENG MUSEUM. Alternatively, enjoy a comfortable stroll in the country at the adjacent Maropeng Boutique Hotel, followed by tea on the deck with its exquisite views of the Magaliesberg.
Next, travel up the HARTBEESPOORT CABLE WAY (weather permitting) to take in the views from the top of the Magliesberg – the dam, the developments, the history, and more.

DAY 1 PM
Lunch is a Swiss-inspired BUFFET LUNCH on the deck of Esther’s Country Retreat. Complimentary glass of wine. From the comfortable deck, take in the views and relax!
Return to the Magalies Gliding Club where we have a full programme waiting for you, beginning with a fascinating illustrated talk on the BIRDS OF THE MAGALIESBERG by a regional expert.
Then, enjoy LIVE MUSIC – before, during and after dinner – provided by the very best of Magaliesberg’s local talent.
Tuck into a POTJIE DINNER – prepared by your skilful homegrown chef – in the charismatic clubhouse of the Magalies Gliding Club. Local is Lekka!
At the end of the day, we return you safely to your selected accommodation.

DAY 2 AM
Hop on your LUXURY COACH. Meet your Day 2 GUIDES who will again look after all your needs. Collect friends/family at nearby selected accommodation options.
Start the day with a hearty MAGALIESBERG CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST at the Magalies Gliding Club. Every item in this breakfast is locally sourced! Local is lekka!
After that, view a captivating visual overview of the BOER WAR – especially what it meant for the Magaliesberg.
Your next outing is a wide-ranging FARM EXPERIENCE. Explore and wander around a working farm. Learn how to grow your own veggies at home.

DAY 2 PM
Travel down the road for a PICNIC LUNCH under the trees (weather permitting, otherwise under cover) overlooking the dam at Imbabali Lodge.
Enjoy a live repertoire of PIANO MUSIC and chill you out (pianos are repaired on the Imbabali Lodge property!)
Lastly, you are off to a TASTING of beer, gin and rum at Black Horse Brewery and Distillery. Alternatively, stroll around the property, pop into the brewery, relax under the huge trees, and shop at the Craft Shop…
To end the day (and the tour), we return you safely to your selected accommodation options.

Steenkoppies: Located in the heart of Magaliesburg, Steenkoppies Estate provides luxury accommodation, and a beautiful garden in which to relax with a swimming pool, braai and boma facilities.
Stone Hill: With breath-taking views over Magaliesburg, Stone Hill has 9 luxurious timber cottages, accommodating from 2 to 6 guests each. All cottages have Aircon, splash pools, log fireplaces, & DSTV.
