started Art and crafts sessions for the elderly at Methodist Homes – Garden Village in Bordeaux. Weekly.
The lessons include: loosening up exercises, looking and drawing object from reference, real life, or from the imagination, abstract art as a way to help the hand and eye coordination, confidence, nurturing creativity and, for enjoyments sake.
Working with play dough as tactile, creative and fun exercises.
This is a service I would love to expand to other Homes.
